Blending the finest coffee with the best craft liqueur from 'Wakasa Mikata Beverage Co., Ltd.'

A richly flavored Fukui Prefecture-produced '1940 Coffee Liqueur' that we can be proud of in the future.
We are confident that this finished masterpiece is a 'specialty product' of regional creation.

In the 1940s, when 'Nitta Coffee' was founded, many people interacted in Tsunuga, Japan. There were cafes (what we now call bars) where people enjoyed drinking alcohol or coffee, creating a lively atmosphere.

As you reflect on the historical background and era of '1940,' why not tilt your glass or cup and immerse yourself in nostalgia?

DECAFFEINATED COFFEE BEANS
from Colombia

We use decaffeinated coffee beans from Colombia, carefully roasted by the coffee appraisers of 'Nitta Coffee,' which holds the title of best in Japan. To ensure you can enjoy the distinct coffee flavor and a moderate roastiness when blended with alcohol, we have finished the coffee with a slightly deeper French roast.

ASSEMBLAGE WITH VODKA

We use 'vodka' from 'Wakasa Mikata Beverage Co., Ltd.' which specializes in crafting liqueurs that bring out the best in their ingredients, for the assembly (blending). To highlight the excellent coffee flavor without increasing the alcohol content, the alcohol by volume is set at 15%.

Ways of enjoyment

The alcohol content is 15%, comparable to that of wine or sake. It provides a pleasant level of intoxication—not too strong, yet not too weak.

Being decaffeinated, it can be enjoyed while relaxing in the evening. It pairs perfectly as a digestif after meals and complements desserts wonderfully.
